KAKAMA’s main driving force is passion and the desire to do better.
KAKAMA means “efficiency” in Maori. The search for new solutions combined with efficiency leads to
challenging projects that require passion and bring great satisfaction to those willing to get
involved. At KAKAMA, we respect people and strive to ensure that our technologies benefit
everyone.
The founding of Kakama
KAKAMA was founded in 2021, who wanted to create a research space where we could invest time in developing innovative projects.

Many of the projects that began as pure research have evolved into products. Other projects have led the company to
collaborate with research and development teams from other companies.

MATRIX
Matrix is an Internet monitoring platform. This goal, expressed in a simple sentence, has led
to the development of various components that make up the platform over the last seven
years, which will be integrated and replaced in the future. To date, Matrix produces feeds
consumed by various companies and organizations, as well as publicly sharing threatsdetected through the urlscan.io platform.

Sentry
The Sentry project aims to develop a UAV that can be used in complex monitoring and transport scenarios. This is an extremely challenging project because it addresses a number of issues such as aerodynamics, propulsion, materials, electronics, vision, and radiotransmission (among others).

EdJedi
EdJedi is a computing distribution platform useful for executing particularly demanding processing tasks. It was created out of the need to control unstable connected devices and has evolved over time in the fields of IoT (currently several thousand devices around the world
are based on this platform) and cyber security (many of the probes used by Matrix to collectdata are controlled via EdJedi).
